ABOUT

My name is Lia Fenwick and I’ve been working in the makeup industry for over seven years. During this time, I’ve had the opportunity to train one-to-one with leading celebrity makeup artists, as well as attend regular advanced courses to refine and develop my techniques. I truly believe in the importance of continuous learning, and I’m always looking for ways to evolve and stay inspired.

I began my career working in-house at Missguided as a Junior Hair and Makeup Artist, where I had the chance to learn from experienced senior artists within a fast-paced creative environment. This hands on experience helped me build confidence, grow as an artist, and shape the professional I am today.
I have continued to build my career as a freelance makeup artist, and continued to book shoots, commericals and ecommerce work.

I dived headfirst into the Bridal space, and absolutely fell in love. I bring everything I’ve learned to offer a calm, friendly, and expert presence on one of the most special days of someones life. I’m passionate about creating looks that enhance your natural beauty and help you feel like the very best version of yourself.

My Journey
It all started when I turned sixteen and my friends would ask me to help them get ready for a night out. Little did I know that those moments would spark the creativity and passion that helped me build my own business and career.

I carried on practising and developing my skills, constantly looking for ways to improve. By the time I turned eighteen, and finally starting my career, I was begging family members to let me practise on them, and started offering free makeup appointments to build up my confidence and experience. At the same time, I was working full time in marketing, which ended up being a huge help when it came to growing my business. I’m so grateful for everything I learnt in that industry, but it also meant working every day, every weekend, and every evening to keep making progress.

As my bookings started to grow, I decided to invest in myself and train with two of my favourite makeup artists – Sophie Vijay and Abbey Christopher. That decision shaped so much of my career and I’ll always be grateful for the time, skills, and advice they gave me when I was just nineteen.

Since then, I’ve worked as an in-house makeup artist at Missguided and gone freelance, working for myself. I've booked shoots with fashion brands, and found my calling into the bridal world.
And that brings me to where I am today, working with some amazing brands and people to continue to pursue my dream career.
